Dr. Sapna Hayes, a former dentist in the US
Air Force, has joined Zöe Dental. Dr. Hayes brings more than 14 years of experience
in preventive and restorative services to the practice.
Hayes moved to Asheville from Ohio, but as a member of the
USAF Dental Corps, she has lived in the United Kingdom, Texas, Florida, and
California. Some of her accomplishments at these locations include serving as
chief of general dentistry, dental public health officer, and as a member of
the forensic dental team. She earned several meritorious service and
commendation medals while in the Air Force.
After her Air Force tenure, she co-founded a dental clinic
serving the underprivileged in rural California.
“I needed to find the right person to
fit seamlessly into our office; someone who could provide exceptional
dentistry, as well as a good bedside manner and compassion toward our
patients. After a long search, we were
excited to find Dr. Hayes,” said Perry Stamatiades, Zöe
