Asheville Sister Cities hosting "Around the World" culinary event - Dec. 3rd

Asheville Sister Cities, Inc. invites the community to a culinary tour of our sister cities at the Around the World Party, coming up Tues., Dec. 3 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Aloft Asheville Downtown, 51 Biltmore Ave. 

This holiday event will feature international delicacies provided by Cecilia's Kitchen, Chestnut, Chorizo, Mamacita's, Pomodoros, and ASCI’s Osogbo (Nigeria) and Vladikavkaz (Russia) committees. There will also be beer, wine and cocktails from Aloft, Biltmore Wines and Highland Brewing Co.

Tickets are only $25 in advance at www.ashevillesistercities.org, or $30 at the door. Admission includes food plus two drink tickets, with additional drink tickets available for $4 each.

Those interested in joining Asheville Sister Cities will be able purchase an annual membership for only $10 at the door … more than half off the regular membership fee of $25.

Proceeds from the Around the World Party will benefit the ASCI scholarship program, which provides local students the opportunity to study in Asheville’s sister cities around the world.
