Asheville School hits record enrollment

For the eighth consecutive year, Asheville School will celebrate a record enrollment by welcoming 285 students on Opening Day 2014. The school community is excited to have more than 50 new members entering from the Class of 2018 and a talented senior class.

“Our success is based on the fact that our school still believes in relationships,” said Director of Admission John Smith. “We’re a small enough community that every child can be known and cared for. We focus on academics, character development, and core values -- and that’s what families want for their children.”

While the class size at Asheville School is very small – 13 students, on average – the student body is a very diverse group, representing 20 states and 15 countries. Students burst out of their comfort zones to try new things, whether it’s one of the 16 AP courses or 23 sports teams, because they know they have the full support of the faculty.
While seniors return on Friday, August 22 for the Senior Faculty Banquet, the entire school community will take part in Opening Day this Saturday, August 23. Click here for the full schedule.
