OM Sanctuary announces OM Care awardee Stephanie Moore

OM Sanctuary, a non profit organization whose mission is to inspire healthy lifestyle practices through holistic education and connection with nature announces its most recent OM Care awardee, Stephanie Moore, Director for Craft, Creativity & Design, http://www.craftcreativitydesign.org/. OM Care is designed to reduce stress and bring rest and relaxation to those who work for the hundreds of non-profit charitable organizations across Buncombe County. 

In addition to being Executive Director of this national arts non-profit organization, Stephanie touches lives by wearing many hats. She is a facility manager, development director, party planner and most importantly, a devoted mother. Over the past year, Stephanie has orchestrated the move of the Center for Craft, Creativity and Design from Hendersonville to downtown Asheville. All the while, she has expanded the staff, maintained high quality programming and successfully managed the build out of the new offices and exhibition space with the intent of being  "a strong voice for the next generation of craft artists and scholars". She is a devoted fan of her children's football games and rarely takes time out for herself.which is why her colleagues nominated her for an OM Care Rest and Renewal stay.

Qualified non profit organizations are invited to apply for an OM Care award on behalf of one of their employees and if selected, that employee will receive a weekday Rest and Renewal Retreat for themselves at OM Sanctuary’s 54 acre “secret garden”, located at the site of the former Richmond Hill Inn. Included in the recipients renewal program is breakfast, the option to join one or more of the holistic education classes, meditate in the OM Meditation Room, unwind with a sauna in the Wellness Center and enjoy walking the Tranquility Trail above the French Broad River.
