fiber artist Karen Kennedy demonstrate needle felting holiday decorations using
locally dyed wool at Grovewood Gallery (adjacent to Omni Grove Park Inn) every
Friday in November from 11am – 4pm.
Kennedy is a graduate of Haywood Community
College's Professional Crafts Program who enjoys weaving, dying and felting for
"pleasure and profit." She says, "Little bits of nature are
always my inspiration, and I love translating what I see into a fiber piece of
some kind."
Karen's holiday creations are crafted in a variety of sizes
and styles and will be available for sale during her demonstration (starting at
$20).
