United Federal Credit Union appoints Yvonne Dean as Vice President of United Investment Planning



Yvonne Dean has been appointed to the position of Vice President of United Investment Planning (UIP), through broker dealer, CFS*, at United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) in St. Joseph, Mich.  In her new role, Dean will be accountable for the growth and profitability of the UFCU investment portfolio.  She will act as the credit union’s subject matter authority in retirement, investment, college and estate planning; insurance products and services, and will be responsible for UIP program regulatory compliance.

Dean was previously a Senior Portfolio Consultant Team Manager at Schwab Private Client in Indianapolis, where she led a team of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professionals, Portfolio Consultants and support staff, managing assets on behalf of 1,750 clients. Dean’s 20 years of prior financial services industry experience includes leadership positions with PNC Bank and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

Dean holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan; a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University in Indianapolis. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER; a CERTIFIED WEALTH STRATEGIST; and holds the Indiana Life, Health and Variable Annuity (VA) Resident License and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 9, 10, 24, and 66 licenses.  She currently resides in Indianapolis and will relocate to Southwest Michigan.
