Wage and Hour Update: Complying with the New FLSA Rules and Regulations Friday, August 26, 2016 / 9 am to 1 pm / WCU at Biltmore Park  Cost: Early bird registration is $79. Workplace Violence: Risk Analysis, Prevention and Response Friday, August 26, 2016 / 9 am to 12 pm / WCU Main Campus   Cost: $99 This half-day workshop will focus on educating participants on the rates and types of crimes occurring in the workplace with a primary focus on workplace safety training for managing assaultive behavior. While it's not 100% preventable, and in some cases even expected, workplace violence can be mitigated through environmental design, awareness, education and proactive, frequent training.
