Medical Collections (104825)	Job Summary: The Collection Representative is primarily responsible for speaking with patients to collect payment on balances dues and establish payment arrangements. This position will screen patients for Medicaid eligibility and assist patients in completing Patient Financial Statements and making application for discounts available under the Health Systems' Financial Assistance and Charity Care policy. Additional responsibilities include identifying when patients have insurance coverage that is not on file, updating patient accounts for billing insurance. High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred: Associate's Degree. Related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Required Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in customer service, collections, hospital, or medical office setting. Education may be considered in lieu of directly related work experience.
