Next Step Recovery, Inc. partners with Groupon Grassroots for Young Adult Adventure Program initiative

Next Step Recovery and Groupon Grassroots (http://grassroots.groupon.com), the philanthropic arm of Groupon, announce the launch of the Young Adult Adventure Program, a local campaign to provide therapeutic adventure outings for adult men and women in recovery.

Monday, August 20 through Monday, August 27, Groupon subscribers are encouraged to donate to the Young Adult Adventure Program in increments of $10.  Each $10 provides an adventure opportunity to one of 30+ young adults involved in the Next Step Recovery program. Subscribers can access the Young Adult Adventure Program campaign from the Asheville, NC Groupon Grassroots page starting Monday, August 20^th.  One hundred percent of the proceeds will be used to provide adventures to these young adults in early recovery.

This program provides an opportunity to be challenged and grow through the process of self-discovery. The Young Adult Adventure Program enables these individuals to recognize they can experience fun and fulfillment without the use of drugs and alcohol. As a leader in the field of early recovery, Next Step Recovery has developed a variety of challenging and fun outdoor experiences that teach young people in recovery to use the resources around them to create new and healthy, lasting memories.
