American Red Cross offers new disaster volunteer training Nov 3rd

Sandy's devastation has inspired many to seek out volunteer opportunities within the American Red Cross. They spent this week preparing our trained volunteers for deployment to places such as eastern North Carolina, Baltimore/DC area, New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York.

This Saturday, American Red Cross is offering a New Volunteer Training that may allow new & spontaneous volunteers to respond to this and future disasters.The training is Saturday, November 3rd, 9:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Asheville Office (to register call 828-258-3888, ext 228) or the Greenville Office (to register, call 864-232-8660).
