PSABC awards Gray Line exclusive endorsement

Preservation Society of Asheville and Buncombe County recognizes Gray Line Trolley Tours of Asheville as Preservation Partner

The Preservation Society of Asheville and Buncombe County (PSABC) has exclusively endorsed Gray Line Trolley Tours of Asheville as the local tour operator committed to presenting the city’s historic and cultural resources to visitors.  PSABC, the area’s leading preservation advocate, works to promote and sustain the heritage and sense of place that is Asheville and Buncombe County.  Gray Line is a natural partner in this mission, supporting and showcasing preservation every day in their narrated trolley tours of Asheville.

“Our community’s sense of place is unique in America, and Gray Line does a superior job sharing that legacy with everyone who hops on a trolley,” says Jack Thomson, Executive Director of PSABC.  “When people like what they see and hear on a Gray Line Tour, it helps us in our mission to preserve what makes Asheville, Asheville.”

Patrons of Gray Line can hop on and hop off open-air trolleys that travel all over town.  Knowledgeable drivers share the varied story of Asheville, covering everything from history and facts to art and culture to restaurants and retail.  The Trolley runs March through December, 7 days a week, with an itinerary that covers 10 stops over 90+ minutes.

“We work hard to maintain the relevancy and accuracy of our tours; always fun and entertaining, yet ever faithful to the facts of Asheville's history, heritage and culture.  Partnering with The Preservation Society syncs ideally with that effort," says Jonathan Helmken, Gray Line's General Manager.  "We're very supportive of the work of the Society and proud to partner with them."
