Alberice Architecture + Design and MHAworks announce merger

Representatives from MHAworks and Alberice Architecture + Design announced the two companies have merged as MHAworks, PA effective October 1, 2016. 
 

MHAworks is currently a leading force in North Carolina architecture, with offices located in Durham, Pittsboro, and Greenville, while Alberice Architecture + Design has been focused on the Asheville market since 1989.  The merger offers MHAworks the opportunity to expand its client-focused service to Western North Carolina and it offers Peter Alberice and his staff more depth and strength to draw from to service their clients.     

“The merger allows us to provide regional, personalized service to clients in the western part of the state,” Michael Hining, President and Founder of MHAworks states. “This is our fourth office in North Carolina.  Our growth has been very targeted and strategic.  As a firm, we understand the importance of being a part of the communities in which we work and this move is a natural next step for us. Founded in 1988, MHAworks has a staff of thirty-six professionals providing architecture, interior design and planning services. The firm delivers classic design with next generation creativity, and leadership that puts the client first.

Alberice Architecture + Design is a full service architecture firm located in downtown Asheville, North Carolina with over 30 years of experience.

TD Charitable Foundation supports OnTrack WNC and homeownership

The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank^®, recently donated a total of $5,000 to OnTrack WNC Financial Education & Counseling as part of the foundation’s commitment to giving back to the community.

OnTrack WNC is a nonprofit committed to helping people in Western NC meet their financial and housing goals through education, counseling, coaching, and support.  The grant from the TD Charitable Foundation provides funding for OnTrack WNC’s Homebuyer Program for people who would like to own a home of their own.  The program includes both education and counseling. The 12-hour HUD-approved Homebuyer Education series includes budgeting for homeownership, understanding credit reports/scores, and working with Realtors, closing attorneys, and mortgage lenders.  The education is followed by Homebuyer Counseling in which OnTrack WNC housing counselors provide clients with support and guidance to identify next steps and create an Action Plan to move toward their goal.
