The internet radio show Best Boomer Towns hosted by Nancy Shonka recently featured Asheville, NC as one of the best towns for the boomer generation to retire to. The Chamber's own Jane Anderson, VP of Member Services, was a guest on the show. They covered all things Asheville: climate, arts, food, and retirement.

Now, when will there be a program that says Asheville is one of the best places for a college grad to get a job? When will Asheville start creating more non-minimum wage employment?
I agree with the radio show that Asheville is a great place for boomers or anyone for that matter to live. Great weather and the city has a unique character to it. I can't think of a better place to call home!
Just noticed that Retirement and Good Living selected Asheville as one of the top retirement locations for 2013 at retirementandgoodliving.com/asheville/
