Mountain BizWorks Welcomes Dr. Alan Baumgarten and Michel Baudouin to Consulting Team

Mountain BizWorks is pleased to welcome two experienced individuals into its Consulting team.

Dr. Alan Baumgarten has joined the Consulting Advisory Board, which helps ensure that the Mountain BizWorks Consulting practice adheres to the highest professional standards, engages only with adequately experienced business executives, and operates fairly in delivering services across our WNC region. Dr. Baumgarten is a Founder and current President of Family Health Centers, with 20 physicians providing care from three offices, and has recently served as Chief of Staff for Mission Hospital. He brings his expertise in delivery and management of healthcare services including primary care, nutrition, practice management and practice ethics to the Advisory Board.

Separately, Michel Baudouin has joined the team as a consultant, and is available for Consulting engagements for middle-market dining or fine dining projects. Mr. Baudouin is the owner and operator of Bouchon and Creperie Bouchon, as well as a co-founder of Asheville Independent Restaurants (AIR). He is also a key organizer behind the GO Kitchen-Ready program, a free culinary training program that prepares low-income adults for employment in food service. Mr. Baudouin previously operated the Grape Escape in Asheville and several restaurants in Dallas, TX before relocating to Asheville.

Mountain BizWorks’ Consulting product helps ambitious, existing businesses with: improving money-making ideas; extracting more profit/cash from growing revenues; expanding markets; and/or improving internal operations. Our 13 consultants are experienced business executives who have successfully operated multiple businesses, often in different industries. They bring experience, understanding, and skill to solving business problems and capturing opportunities.
