French Broad Cycling Classic seeks volunteers for 7/19-7/21

The French Broad Cycling Classic announces its inclusion in the inaugural 2013 Southeast Regional Series, which will bring 600 of the nation’s top riders including hometown heroes, Olympians, professionals, and rising juniors and women’s stars to Western North Carolina. The races are sanctioned by USA Cycling and is the third stop on a “5 month, 5 event, 5 city” tour that will determine a Series Champion in all race categories.

The 16th Annual Edition of the French Broad Cycling Classic is being presented under the direction of Asheville Bicycle Racing Club July 19th through the 21st. This year’s 3-day Omnium Stage Race will include new courses for an Individual Time Trial, a Road Race and a Criterium.

The race takes an ‘army’ of Volunteers to bring to life and we’re still in need of people in various capacities…mostly ‘Course Marshals’. Time commitments are broken into small ‘sound bites’ so people can still enjoy the day of racing.

The link below will provide detailed information on each opportunity. The site will ask for your name and email, but you will not be ‘assigned’ a post until you click to do so.
