"Tats for Tails" tattoo fundraiser benefits Full Moon Farm - August 22

On Thursday, August 22nd, Diamond Thieves Body Piercing and Tattoo is hosting a fundraiser to benefit Full Moon Farm. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards vet care for their wolfdogs. Full Moon Farm currently has 67 resident wolfdogs and vet bills can add up quickly.

Diamond Thieves is located at 1570 Patton Avenue in West Asheville.  Between 12pm and 9pm, visitors have the opportunity to meet River the Ambassadog while they wait to get their tattoo! Choose from four tattoo designs (each design is $40). For more information call 828-664-9818.

Full Moon Farm is an organization dedicated to the well-being of the wolfdog. A wolfdog is a dog that has a pure wolf ancestor within the last 5 generations. Situated on 17 beautiful mountain acres in Black Mountain, NC, Full Moon Farm operates as a federally recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization for abused and refused wolfdogs who find themselves in need of love, shelter, and care through no fault of their own.

Full Moon Farm provides a safe haven for animals that cannot be placed into homes for the rest of their lives.  Our rescued wolfdogs come from animal control agencies, closed breeding situations and occasionally, an owner in crisis.  We evaluate each animal upon intake and work with them at their level of comfort.  Some animals are "hands off" and we respect their choice, as well as that of the animals that crave human interaction.  Our goal is to enrich the lives of the resident animals, allowing them to reach their highest potential.
