Eliada expands treatment milieu

Green Cottage, Eliada's newest treatment program, expands Eliada's ability to care for children with mental health needs. The cottage is a small four bed residence that is well suited for children who may not need as intensive and restrictive services as Elaida's PRTF (Psychiatric Residential Treatment) cottages. This residence acts as a stepping stone for children before returning to their home communities. Children who stay in Green Cottage experience a supportive residential setting where their treatment needs are met on a daily basis.

Green Cottage serves children and adolescents ages 10-17. The program blends Positive Peer Culture and Aggression Replacement Training to motivate and equip youth with skills to help one another act responsibly. Students also receive educational services while in Green Cottage, as well as access to all of Eliada's recreation services on campus. Students can also access college scholarships from Eliada or participate in Eliada's transitional living services after high school.
