Biltmore Farms Hotels promotes 11 employees to new positions
Biltmore
Farms Hotels announces today the opening of the Hampton Inn & Suites
Asheville-Biltmore Village, located in Historic Biltmore Village, adjacent to
its DoubleTree Biltmore hotel. The 120 year-old company added its fourth
Asheville property to its portfolio and also celebrated the promotions of 11
employees to positions at the new hotel, including four in management roles.
The Hampton Inn & Suites
boasts 118 total guest rooms, including 35 suites, and features a clean, modern
design with vibrant colors reflecting the spirit of the City, as well as
Biltmore Farms Hotels’ Vanderbilt Legacy. Amenities include free hot
breakfast, 24-hour TREATS shop featuring local vendors, complimentary wi-fi,
JumpStart Fitness Center and Perfect Mix Lobby. An outdoor terrace space
with fire pit and an indoor pool are a few of the other amenities available to
guests, as well as innovative technology that includes a business center and
docking and charging stations throughout the public space. The new
property also has numerous energy-efficient features throughout the building,
including high efficiency LED lights, smart
energy conserving guestroom HVAC units with infrared red sensing thermostats
(turns off when not in the room) direct vented fresh air to every guestroom for
improved indoor air quality and on-demand instant hot water.
The most unique highlight
of the property is Milepost 408, a quaint bar that is atypical of most Hampton
Inn designs, serving local brews, wine selections and lite bites. The
hotel partnered with Catawba Brewing Company to create a new craft beer,
appropriately called Stay a While Blonde Ale. Milepost 408 will be open
not only to guests, but to the local public as well. Biltmore Farms
Hotels will also expand its partnership with MANNA Foodbank, with a $1 from the
sale of each Stay a While Blonde Ale donated back to the local hunger relief
organization. Catawba Brewing Company will also sell the new brew at its
South Slope location and donate proceeds to MANNA.
The opening of the Hampton
Inn & Suites created new opportunities for growth within the Biltmore Farms
Hotels employment base, as well as for the Asheville community, adding 36 full
and part-time positions. There are still a few openings available at the
property, including bartenders, room attendants and maintenance staff. Interested
candidates can apply online at BiltmoreFarmsHotels.com or fill out an
application in-person.
“The opening of the
Hampton Inn & Suites is an exciting milestone in our company’s history, as
it not only created new growth opportunities for our employees, but brings a
unique hotel with modern amenities to Biltmore Village,” stated Ron Storto, Vice
President of Hospitality of Biltmore Farms. “We look forward to hosting
visitors to Asheville and ensuring a memorable stay.”
