Eliada's tennis courts open Friday, September 13th

On Friday, September 13th at 4 PM, Eliada Homes will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open their newly constructed tennis courts.

Thanks to the support of Dr. & Mrs. James and Thea Weilbaecher, Jr. and the United States Tennis Association, Eliada has added one more feature to its ever-expanding list of recreation programs for children in their care. Volunteers who love the game of tennis will work with Eliada students to help them learn a new sport, challenge themselves athletically, and build mentor relationships.

The public is invited to attend the ribbon-cutting next to the tennis courts on Eliada's campus at 2 Compton Drive in Leicester. Students in the Eliada School of Trade Arts (ESTA) will prepare and serve hors d'oeuvres, and music will be provided by one of Asheville's favorite musicians Jason Krekel.
Everyone attending is then invited to enter Eliada's Corn Maze free of charge.

For more information about attending, or about volunteering with their tennis program, please contact Tami Ruckman, Director of Development, at (828) 254-5356, ext. 306 or at truckman@eliada.org.
