RiverLink is working
throughout your community to support greenways along tributaries to the French
Broad River, as part of the Wilma Dykeman RiverWay Plan to
connect neighborhoods, downtown and the river to our areas assets and
attractions, from the Blue Ridge Parkway, NC Arboretum, River Arts District,
UNC-Asheville, Appalachian and Mountains to Sea Trails, Biltmore Village, and
more. We are currently supporting greenway efforts through a variety
ways, and you too can help support your local greenway initiative, through
Deeds of Support and local fundraising events. Currently we have three
greenway initiatives, the Broadway Greenway Link and the Friends of Hominy
Creek Greenway, and the sustaining support for the Wilma Dykeman RiverWay,
which helps us make these connections.
On Sunday
October 28th, RiverLink is co-hosting fundraising events for local
greenways.
