Miss this Hard-to-Recycle Event Planned for South Buncombe County!
Asheville
GreenWorks is partnering with Rainbow Recycling to host a Hard 2 Recycle Day in
South Buncombe on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Arden Presbyterian Church, 2215
Hendersonville Rd, Arden, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come clean out your houses, reduce
waste and enjoy free public recycling. No
early or late drop-offs are permitted!
Items
collected include: Rigid plastics, books, cardboard, electronics, batteries,
Styrofoam, packaging, household appliances, used cooking oil, metal, pet
supplies, various fabrics and clothing, prescription glasses, hearing aids,
chips and snack bags, personal care and beauty containers.
The
businesses and organizations that will collect the recyclables are Curbside
Management, Biltmore Iron and Metal, Leading Green Distributing, Rainbow
Recycling, Asheville Area Habitat ReStore, Blue Ridge Biofuels, Asheville Human
Society, Asheville-Buncombe Comunnity Christian Ministry, Valley Springs Lions
Club, City of Asheville.
Sponsoring
organizations of this free public recycling event are Rainbow Recycling,
Asheville GreenWorks, Curbside Management, Biltmore Iron & Metal Company,
Open Box Moving Solutions, and Leading Green Distributing
