Participants
will study start-up, expansion, and overhead costs, profit goals, cash flow,
marketing, licensing and more. Attendees will also learn about the requirements
of entrepreneurship and receive direct, supportive feedback on business ideas.
By the end of the day, attendees will have an action plan for getting a business
idea or expansion off the ground with a template that they can build on over
time. Individuals starting or operating agricultural enterprises will receive
an additional industry-specific resource packet.
Retreat
participants are invited to make a journey for the day or to extend their
experience to include an overnight stay at Nantahala Village Resort, located
near Bryson City and within minutes of whitewater rafting, canopy tours, trout
streams, and hiking trails. Mention the retreat to receive a lodging discount.
