Blue Sky MD to host free community movie screening of "Fed Up" - Aug. 27th

Socialize and enjoy healthy refreshments while learning more about the food industry

David LaMond, D.O., founder and CEO of Blue Sky MD, announced today that Blue Sky MD will host a free community screening of the movie Fed Up on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015 at 6 p.m. The screening will take place at Carolina Cinemas, located at 1640 Hendersonville Rd in Asheville. Healthy refreshments will be provided.

Fed Up, from Katie Couric and An Inconvenient Truth producer Laurie David, takes a close look at the food industry and the foods Americans consume every day, and has been called "the film the food industry doesn't want you to see."

"There is more to a healthy lifestyle than the number on your scale or the size of your jeans," says Dr. LaMond. "So much of the food we consume works against us to create a myriad of health problems. Nourishing your body with the right foods is a cornerstone of good health and a balanced, happy life."

To RSVP for the event, email Kinsay Sand at kinsay.sand@blueskymd.com by Friday, Aug. 14. For more information about Blue Sky MD or to schedule an appointment at one of its three locations, visit blueskymd.com.
