Asheville Affiliates host Mountain Top Jamboree to benefit abused and neglected children
Who: The Asheville Affiliates will host a Mountain Top Jamboree on November 10 to
benefit abused and neglected children being served by the Mountain Child
Advocacy Center (MCAC). The Big Deal Band will provide music throughout the

Distributing. Food including hors d'oeuvres, appetizers and desserts will be provided
by local Asheville eateries. The event will also feature a silent auction and raffle with
100% proceeds going directly to MCAC.
What: The mountain top theme is to recognize the triumph of the children that make that hard climb to recover from abuse.
Where: The event will be held at the Bunn House located at 15 Clayton in Asheville. Advance tickets can be purchased online for $25 at www.mtncac.org. Tickets will also be
available at the door for $30.
When: The event will take place on November 10 from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Why: The Asheville Affiliates, founded in 1999, is a group of professionals dedicated to cohosting fundraising events to benefit Asheville area non-profit organizations. Over the
past seventeen years our board, volunteers and network base of 3,000 young
professionals have supported local nonprofits by attending benefits where almost all of
the elements of production have been donated by the local business community.
The Mountain Child Advocacy Center provides services for abused children through
crisis intervention therapy, advocacy, and community education. For more information
