Theatre Company presents How I Learned to
Drive: Asheville Community Theatre welcomes back Attic
Salt Theatre Company, kicking off the 35below season with their production of How I
Learned to Drive. How I
Learned to Drive tells the
awkward story of one rural Maryland girl’s coming-of-age as it relates to her
relationship with her middle-aged Uncle Peck. Directed by Marci Bernstein. The show runs November 4-20, 2016 with performances Friday and Saturday
nights at 7:30 pm and Sunday afternoons at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $20.00 and are

Production Class presents Anything Goes
(Young Performer’s Edition): A classic Boy-Meets-Girl
story full of intrigue and comedy, Anything Goes is wrapped around numbers
such as, “It’s De-Lovely”, “Friendship”, “I Get A Kick Out Of You”, “Anything
Goes,” “You’re The Top” and “Blow, Gabriel, Blow.” This
production is performed by a class of students ranging in age from 11 to 17. Directed
by Lori Hilliard. Performances are Friday,
November 4,
2016 at 7:30pm and Saturday & Sunday, November 5-6, 2016 at 2:30pm on the Mainstage.

Broadway Bootcamp Showcase: Hear the hits of Broadway performed by some of Western North
Carolina’s most talented young performers! Fall Showcase includes songs from Hamilton, Matilda, School of Rock, Waitress,
Beautiful, Rock of Ages, Motown, and Smokey
Joe’s CafĂ©. Directed by Mark Jones with musical direction by Sarah Fowler and
choreography by Jessica Garland. Performances are Friday, November 11, 2016 at 7:30pm and
Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:30pm on the Mainstage. Tickets are $5.00 and are

Storytelling series Listen to This:
In the vein of “The Moth” or “This American Life,” Listen to This features stories and
original songs from locals. November’s installment will be presented on

Beauty and the Beast, Jr.: Belle, a beauty; a young prince, the beast. Under the spell of an
enchantress, the Beast must learn to love and be loved to break the curse or be
doomed for all eternity. This production is performed by a class of students
ranging in age from 7 to 14. Directed by Jeff Catanese. Performances are Friday, November 18, 2016 at 7:30pm and
Saturday & Sunday, November 19-20, 2016 at 2:30pm on the Mainstage. Tickets
