YMCA welcomes new vice president of development



The YMCA of Western North Carolina brought Jes Garner Williams on board as their Vice President of Development in early October 2012.

Williams is a Ph.D. Candidate at Walden University in Applied Management and Decision Sciences; specializing in Leadership and Organizational Change.  She has a background in campaign management, volunteer recruitment and retention, organizational development, and gift and endowment fundraising.  “Jes brings a wealth of skills and knowledge to the Y,” said Paul Vest, President and CEO of YMCA of WNC.  “We’re excited to have her lead our development team.”

Williams will oversee the YMCA of WNC’s financial development office and annual, capital and endowment efforts.
