LYLAS, Asheville’s first and only
all-female sketch comedy troupe, is proud to announce their upcoming production
Turning
Over a New LYLAS in 35below at Asheville Community Theatre January
16-25, 2014. Performances
are Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 pm, with additional late night
performances Friday and Saturday nights at 9:30 pm. All tickets are $15.00 and are available
online, by phone, or in person at the Asheville Community Theatre Box Office.
Turning Over a New LYLAS is the eleventh
totally original production written and performed by LYLAS. Turning
Over a New LYLAS features short sketches, videos, and at least one
pool-optional synchronized swimming routine. LYLAS has
consistently sold out performances for all of their past shows, and was
recently voted one of the top three comedy troupes in Western North Carolina.
LYLAS (stands for “Love Ya Like A
Sis”) welcomes three new faces to the group and two alumni to the stage for
this production. Brand new LYLAS members
Fay Canale, Tina Ford-Cox and Tab Hall join veteran
LYLASers Delina Hensley and Hollis McKeown, while alumna Betsy Puckett and
Jenny Bunn are back from “retirement” to do the show.
Turning Over a New LYLAS runs January 16-25,
2014 in 35below at Asheville Community Theatre.
Tickets are available in advance online at www.ashevilletheatre.org or
