The Sing Together Series, with musicians Beth and Jim Magill, is designed for friends to celebrate the joy of music and singing in spirited sessions, each with a different theme throughout the year. The “Freedom Songs and Spirituals” Sing Together on Friday, February 7 is a vibrant, song-filled exploration of the music of the Underground Railroad. Intersections: Movement Making, An Introductory Workshop is a special session designed to encourage participants to explore ways to move, collaborate, and express personal stories. Led by Movement Artist & Educator Barrie Barton, participants partake in easy and safe warm-up exercises and learn simple methods for composing movements and stories into “movement theater.” No experience required; beginners are welcome.
