"Sound" business strategies to be discussed at Advertising Federation event - Mar. 24th

Expert in Audio Marketing to Offer Presentation on Branding for the Ears

Steve Keller, CEO of Nashville-based iV audio branding, will give a presentation on using sound as a powerful marketing tool. The event is being offered by the American Advertising Federation Asheville and will be held at Strada Italiano, 27 Broadway, on Tuesday, March 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event is open to the public although advance registration is required.

Keller has provided audio marketing services for some of the most recognizable brands in the world, including Nike, Ford and Coca-Cola. Combining his two great passions, music and psychology, he built a company that has expanded to Europe and South America, where he and his partners help multi-billion dollar companies to grow even larger by using audio signals to create powerful consumer responses.

Some of the most recognizable sounds in the world have come from audio marketing, such as the sound logos for NBC or Intel. “It’s easy to close your eyes,” Keller said. “It’s much more difficult to close your ears.”

The presentation will not be aimed at marketing executives alone: business owners, recording engineers and musicians will all be able to take away something they can use to enhance their work. Registration for the event will be $15 for Advertising Federation members and $20 for non-members. Please visit www.aafasheville.org for registration.
