The Van Winkle Law Firm announced today that attorney Samuel "BJ" Kilgore has joined the firm's Trusts and Estates team. Kilgore will practice estate planning as well as trust and estate administration, and resolution of disputes and controversies.
Kilgore completed his undergraduate degree at Appalachian State University and earned his law degree from the Law School at Campbell University. Following law school, he developed a trusts and estates practice at a small firm in Raleigh. He is an avid sports fan, and enjoys the outdoors and the mountains. He serves as a North Carolina Wills for Heroes Committee volunteer and previously served on the Wake County Bar Association Athletics Committee. Originally from Banner Elk, N.C., Kilgore currently resides in Asheville with his wife and daughter.
