The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UNC Asheville will begin its free Fab Friday lunch-and-learn series with “The 2016 Election and the Future of Our Country,” a panel discussion featuring political scientists and journalists from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23 in the Reuter Center on UNC Asheville’s campus.
The
panel will feature Asheville Citizen-Times reporters Mark Barrett and
Joel Burgess, focusing on state and local elections. Focusing on the
presidential and congressional elections will be George Peery, professor
emeritus of political science at Mars Hill University, and Ashley Moraguez,
assistant professor of political science at UNC Asheville.
