Carolina Day School opens summer camp registrations

Summer at Carolina Day is an active day camp inviting children throughout the community to learn and grow while having a great time. We have in-depth, fun, and challenging programs for all ages that are sure to delight, inspire, and amuse.

We offer extraordinary camp opportunities covering a tremendous variety of topics. Campers may choose from camps including (but not limited to) Star Wars, Pokémon, Hunger Games, various cooking experiences, Garage Band, All About Tolkien, Camp Half Blood, Puppy Love, Fairy Kingdom, Nature Art, American Girl Dolls, Science and Magic of Harry Potter, Fun with Forts, and more. Campers can also learn about and experience the great outdoors with local activities such as Nature Explorers, WNC Waterfalls, Parks & Playgrounds, and other adventures. Art and creative expression are a large and important part of our summer programs. Offerings include For the Love of Paint, Paint and Play!, Food Art, Glitter Galore Art, Art to Wear, and more. Our ever-popular sports activities include Jump, Jive & Dance, Get Up and Play!, Games Galore, and soccer. Our camps for rising pre-kindergarten-age children include Little Hands Art Adventure, Superheroes, Busy Hands-Jumping Feet, and more! Quest Camps are for children in Pre-K through grade 5.

Summer Explorations are for middle-school students and offer a unique in-depth examination into a particular topic. Summer Workshops at Carolina Day School are directed toward high-school students. Explorations and workshops include offerings such as Fight Like a Jedi (stage combat), Page-to-Stage play writing, Dr. Who, Shakespeare Unplugged, and Teen Trekking.
