About Jonas Gerard
Intuitive, joyful and spontaneous best describes the artist as well as his work. Sharing his vision of true love through an explosion of color and movement, Jonas creates works of transformational power, allowing the creative energy to travel through him onto the canvas and into the hearts of others. His work can be appreciated year round in his two Asheville galleries, in selected exhibits and worldwide in private and corporate collections. His We the People, a bicentennial portrait of the United States, was presented to President Gerald Ford and is part of the permanent collection at the Smithsonian Institute.  Visit the galleries in the River Arts District at 240 Clingman Ave. and at 191 Lyman St., Studio 144.
