Amplified Media moves headquarters to River Arts District, launches new StoryShare program

Asheville-based video production and photography studio relocates to
372 Depot Street and introduces new community service

Jared Kay, founder of Amplified Media (www.amplified-media.com), an Asheville-based video production and photography studio, announced today that his company has moved its headquarters and video production studio to Asheville's River Arts District. The new 3,000-square-foot studio, located at 372 Depot Street in the Glen Rock Building, features an open concept floor plan and is LEED-certified. The new location will also house a dedicated studio space for StoryShare (www.storyshare.net), a new service for local organizations to record monthly video interviews, blogs, client testimonials and educational series for their social media platforms and websites.

"I began Amplified Media in 2005 with just my camera and a goal of creating genuine, compelling video content for local businesses and organizations," said Jared Kay, founder of Amplified Media. "To see Amplified Media where it is today—with such a talented team and an expanded studio in the thriving River Arts District—is quite a milestone. This would not be possible without our wonderful team, fantastic clients and amazingly supportive community."

Kay is excited to introduce StoryShare to his clients and to businesses in the region. For a monthly subscription fee, StoryShare will give local organizations a platform to schedule monthly filming sessions and engage their audiences by creating fresh video content on a regular basis.

“We feel that using video to tell a story is a very powerful way for businesses and nonprofits to engage with their audiences on a genuine level,” said Kay. “With StoryShare, organizations can not only connect with clients, build brand awareness, and share stories, but also reinforce trust and interaction with their audiences on a more consistent basis.”

StoryShare is currently collaborating with purpose-driven community organizations, including the YMCA, Habitat for Humanity and Homeward Bound. To learn more, visit www.storyshare.net.

Amplified Media is a full-service video production and photography studio based in Asheville, N.C. The studio regularly engages with local community partners, such as ExploreAsheville, Biltmore Estate, Asheville Airport and Park Ridge Health, to create genuinely compelling, story-based videos and photography.
