Center for Craft, Creativity & Design seeks operations coordinator



Operations Coordinator
Full time position with benefits, immediate start-date strongly preferred
This is a 30-month grant funded position.

Position Overview
The Center for Craft, Creativity & Design (CCCD) is looking for a full-time Operations Coordinator for CCCD Properties LLC, the real estate arm of CCCD. The position is responsible for maintaining day-to-day operations of the facility, coordinating revenue-generating activities (rentals, coworking, offices, parking), developing facility policies and procedures, and supporting facility-related programs.

The ideal candidate will be extremely flexible, meeting new challenges with creative solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about entrepreneurship and the arts, be a great communicator and wonderful people person, love to create efficient systems and understand the concept and value of coworking. A working knowledge of the craft field is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required, Adobe Suite is encouraged. Experience with social media, Wordpress and Constant Contact a plus. Applicants must be able to lift/push/pull 25lbs or more, climb ladders, and operate other tools and equipment. Evening availability required. Weekend flexibility preferred. 

Job duties include
·         Public Interface: Knowledgeably and personably engage visitors and tenants; Eloquently articulate the work of CCCD; Coordinate all event space rentals (board room, conference room, entire facility); Coordinate office and parking leases and coworking memberships; Develop and maintain relationships with key external partners;
·         Facility Operations: Maintain facility cleanliness and professional atmosphere; Optimize facility operations infrastructure including implementation of facility polices and procedures; Coordinate maintenance contractors and repair companies as needed; Assist with planning, promotion, implementation and logistics of LLC-related special events, programs and initiative.
·         Facility Administration: Greet guests, assitst with answering phones; Maintain positive relationships with vendors, monitoring contracts to completion of work not exceed compensation amount, process vendor payments; Coordinate development of contracts, documents, forms, and reports pertaining to tenants, event rentals, building supplies, etc; Prepare information for annual grant reports; maintain financial, grant and administrative records with accuracy and timeliness.
