Nuclear
Fuel Services, Inc. (NFS), a subsidiary of B&W, operates a uranium fuel
materials production facility to support America’s fleet of nuclear-powered
submarines and aircraft carriers. Located in Erwin, Tennessee, it also converts
Cold War-era government stockpiles of highly enriched uranium into material
suitable for further processing into commercial nuclear reactor fuel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Lead responsibilities or "Point of Contact" for large
projects involving multiple technical disciplines or multi-functional
interfaces. Provide interface with NFS management "customer",
off-site customers and regulatory agencies.
•Assumes
direct engineering responsibility for specific assigned projects.
•Review and recommend materials and equipment specifications for designing and installing processing and utility equipment.
•Provide technical supervision of NFS and contract engineers and designers assigned to projects.
•Provide engineering studies, analyses, designs, cost estimates, and schedules as required.
•Consults with and oversees A/E firms and construction contractors as required to fulfill assigned projects.
•Reviews plant operations and recommends changes that will improve cost effectiveness and/or improve worker safety.

Responsible
for completing complicated engineering assignments which require non-standard
methods and procedures, high degree of technical competence and occasional
direction from a more senior engineer or supervisor. May provide technical

The
Technical Project Analyst will be responsible for the IT management of the
entire life cycle of selected purchased applications supporting defined
business functions; recommending, installing, configuring, and supporting
software to meet business needs. This position is responsible for filling the
roles of the IT Project Manager, IT technical lead and architect. Duties in this
area include working with the vendors on needs such as requirements, bugs and
licensing; defining and implementing best practice architectures and
installations, implementing and gaining approval for security of applications.
They also act as the liaison between the Information Technology Service Center
(ITSC) and internal business customers represented by those applications as
project manager. The IT Technical Project Analyst will also be responsible for

projects in the area of responsibility. This position may act as project lead
of projects with other IT analyst.
