Engineer - BABCOCK & WILCOX  Nuclear Fuel Services

Performs routine aspects of engineering assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles, while following specific detailed instructions or established standards and methods under moderate supervision
 
Performs routine evaluation of field data

Participates in engineering of routine OEM and Service contracts and proposals.
Performs routine engineering studies.
Interacts intermittently with customers, A/E’s, occasionally with vendors and infrequently with sublet engineers.
 
May assist in developing operating instructions.

Participates in R&D projects by providing technical assistance in EAO/EDO and in developing standards.
 
May assist in technical training assignments.

Authors routine technical reports.
Presents designs in design reviews.
Participates in college recruiting during the second interview stage.
Infrequent business travel may be required.
  Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter. Position requires U.S. Citizenship with (no dual citizenship) ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance which involves an extensive criminal and financial background investigation and previous employment reference verifications.
