Skyland Prosthetics &
Orthotics, Inc. will be having its third annual Amputee Appreciation Day on August
22 from 11AM until 3PM. This event gives us an opportunity to say thank
you to our very loyal family of amputees, many of whom have been with us for
our entire 35 years in business. Also, it gives any amputee a chance to
see and discuss all different types of prosthetic technology, up close and personal.
We will have several areas set up for demonstrating the latest technologies to
enable golfing, bicycle riding, dancing, traversing hills and steps, etc.
The festivities will
take place in our very unusually landscaped areas surrounding our facility and
will include barbecue and music.
