Saturdays at ACT presents
The Gift of the Magi & Other
Heartwarming Tales: On December 6, 2014, Bright Star Touring Theatre returns
to headline Asheville Community Theatre’s Saturday family series. The spirit of the holidays is celebrated in The Gift of the Magi & Other
Heartwarming Tales. Learn about putting others first in O’Henry’s tale
“The Gift of the Magi.” In the Indian folktale “The Drum,” the focus is on
generosity and the power of giving. And this rendition of “Stone Soup” stresses
the value of sharing and helping others. Perfect for the holidays! Performance
begins at 10:00 am. All tickets are $5.00 and are available online at
www.ashevilletheatre.org, by phone at 828-254-1320 or in person at the ACT Box
Office.
The Santaland Diaries Opens in 35below: Bradshaw Call is back to star in this one-man-one-act
that can only be described one way: crazy funny. When an out of work slacker
takes a job as an elf in Macy’s Santaland, his hilarious observations of the
shoppers and employees are much more naughty than nice. The Santaland Diaries will be performed December 11-20, 2014
with performances Thursday nights at 7:30 pm and Friday and Saturday nights at
7:30 pm and 9:30 pm. All tickets are
$15.00 and are available online at www.ashevilletheatre.org, by phone at
828-254-1320 or in person at the ACT Box Office.
