Church Street neighbors Trinity
Episcopal and First Presbyterian churches are sponsoring the annual “Loaves
& Fishes Alternative Gift Market” on Sunday, December 7 (9:00AM-1:00 PM).
The event will be hosted at Trinity Episcopal Church’s Tuton Hall (60 Church
Street).
“Loaves & Fishes” is an opportunity to
purchase a gift that matters to those in need.
When you make a purchase you will receive a holiday greeting card,
envelope and gift insert that describes the type of donation and who it will
benefit. For example, a $5 donation
could provide a coloring book & crayons for a child at the Black Mountain
Home for Children, Youth & Families. A $25 donation could help house a
woman in the Room in the Inn program of Homeward Bound.
Brochures are available
at Trinity and First Presbyterian churches and can also be downloaded at www.fpcasheville.org or www.trinityasheville.org . Pre-orders
will not be able to be filled until the day of the market. Orders placed after
the market will be received until December 16th. For more information please contact the First
Presbyterian Church at 828-253-1431.
The gift market assists the local and international
