Franny's Farm shares seasonal news and updates

New eco-cabins under construction:
Construction of their eco-cabins is underway right now. They feature solar power and as many locally sourced materials as possible. They have been a labor of love down to the smallest detail, like the stain from walnuts grown on a friend's land nearby. These cozy cabins will be the perfect getaway for out of town company and event guests. Franny's Farm will be accepting reservations when they are completed in the spring.

First Lamb is born on the farm:
Their flock of Katahdin hair sheep is growing. The first lamb, named Solstice, was born on the shortest day of the year. Several of the ewes are pregnant, so more lambs are expected over the next several weeks. Many of them will likely have twins or triplets.

Thanks for turkey season:
Everyone at Franny's Farm wishes to thank those who took part in raising, preparing and purchasing their turkeys this past fall.  The following comments were shared by one family:

"Dear Franny,
I wanted to say thank you again for your hospitality in inviting us up to your farm. Quinn was so happy to show us around, and the bird was delicious.  All four of us vote it the best turkey we've ever had. The legs and thighs came out tender and juicy, and the breast was perfect." -- Tim McMullan Family
