The Southern Conference, along with the Asheville-Buncombe Regional Sports Commission, announces the start of a new initiative to engage local businesses and boost ticket sales for the 2015 Southern Conference Men's and Women's Basketball and Wrestling Championships.
The SoCon Business Booster program will allow local businesses to purchase a ticket package at $150 that includes five any-session tickets of the Men's or Women's Basketball Tournament, five Men's Championships game tickets and five Wrestling Championship tickets.
The SoCon Basketball Championships will take place in Asheville March 5-9, at Kimmel Arena and the U.S. Cellular Center's ExploreAsheville.com Arena. The SoCon Wrestling Championships will take place on Saturday, March 7, at the Kimmel Arena. Schedules and additional details on both events can be found on SoConTravel.com.
Businesses can use the purchased tickets for customer gifts, employee appreciation, door prizes or social media giveaways. Participating businesses will also receive recognition in the Official SoCon Championship Program and be given two tickets to a Business Booster VIP pre-championship party on Monday, March 9.
