RiverLink to host MLK Day of Service workday along Hominy Creek - Jan. 17th

RiverLink will be celebrating MLK Day this year on Saturday January 17th, 2015. They are excited to continue to implement their Comprehensive CreekCare program on the Hominy Creek. The greenway is looking much better but there's still a lot of work to do.
RiverLink invites volunteers to help with their MLK Workday Saturday January 17th from 9:30am to 12:00pm.  RiverLink received a $25,000 grant from Buncombe County to help make this greenway a reality.
RiverLink has held numerous Comprehensive CreekCare cleanup days this past and have had great success with wonderful volunteers that are helping to reclaim the beautiful 13 acres that makes up Hominy Creek Greenway. We look forward to another great turnout Saturday January 17th and invite any and all volunteers to come out and help. We invite everyone for the full duration, but if you can only make part of the event please feel free to meet us for as long as you can.
