RiverLink Friday Salon Series - Oct 30th

Linking the French Broad and the Wilma Dykeman RiverWay from Hominy Creek to Arboretum and Lake Julian

Join RiverLink on Friday October 30th for one of our Friday Salon Series Presentations starting at 3 pm, in the  Warehouse Studios 170 Lyman Street  to hear and see the latest plans to further link the Wilma Dykeman RiverWay from Hominy Creek to the NC Arboretum and Lake Julian.

Our skilled presenter on October 30 is Josh O'Conner. Josh is the Manager for Buncombe County Recreation Services.  Three years ago Buncombe County funded a greenway master plan and now the county has tasked Buncombe County Recreation Services with implementation of that plan.

Josh has been with Buncombe County for 8 years having recently transitioned to Recreation Services from the county Planning and Development Department.  He also serves as the Chair of the Technical Coordinating Committee for the French Broad River Metropolitan Planning Organization.  In his spare time, Josh enjoys cycling, urban farming, and cooking.

The Wilma Dykeman RiverWay is the number one priority of the Metropolitan Planning Organization and Josh  has the technical and educational expertise  to give us the details of this potential new link in the Wilma Dykeman RiverWay greenway/multi modal system.

Reservations are requested and you can make yours at information@riverlink.org.
