McGuire, Wood & Bissette,
P.A. is pleased to announce Attorney Sabrina Presnell Rockoff’s election as
Managing Partner of the Firm effective February 1, 2016. Ms. Rockoff will be
the first woman to hold the principal leadership position in the Firm’s 122
year history.
An Asheville native, Ms.
Rockoff practiced for 10 years with large, international law firms prior to
returning to her hometown to practice with McGuire, Wood & Bissette in
2012. Ms. Rockoff chairs the firm’s Employment and Labor Law Team representing local
and national employers in all aspects of human resources law. She frequently
trains human resources professionals and managers through her involvement with
Western Carolina Industries, Inc., the Asheville Independent Restaurant
Association and the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce.
A mother of two and breast
cancer survivor, Ms. Rockoff is honored to lead Asheville’s oldest law firm.
