Irene Wortham Center's 4th annual benefit luau - Sept. 14th

Asheville-based non-profit Irene Wortham Center [IWC] invites you to get into the Hawaiian spirit by taking part in their 4th Annual Luau Fundraiser at Juicy Lucy’s Burger Bar & Grill at 620 Hendersonville Road in Asheville from 11:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 14, 2016.

Food and drink specials, face painting, live music, and prizes will be offered throughout the event. A portion of your food and drink purchase will benefit people with disabilities in your community.  Participating is simple.  Just let your server know that you are there to support IWC.  Take-out meals are also eligible for this special promotion.  Last year over $1200 was raised from this event!

Irene Wortham Center recognizes that making an investment in individuals with disabilities can help them to lead happy, health and independent lives. The Center carries out this mission through four vibrant programs. The Early Learning Center helps children ages six weeks to pre-k, learn, play and grow in a supportive environment. The Adult Day Activities Program teaches important life skills to promote confidence and independence. Other IWC programs include around the clock-residential care homes and a Supported Employment Program.
